Every year, our success depends on the participation and support of our SFCA families, and we look forward to partnering with you on the many activities and events at SFCA. There are many opportunities throughout the year for families to complete their service requirement.
If you have questions regarding service hours, contact Shauna Dixon at sdixon@sfcawolves.org or call 352-376-6545.
Parent Service Requirements
In accordance with your admissions contract, each family is responsible for 25 service hours for two-parent families and 15 for single parents. The parent with whom the child resides is responsible for fulfilling the hours. (This does not include the service hours that each student is responsible to perform.)
If a family falls short of fulfilling its hours for the school year by May 1st, there will be a balance due to the school in the amount of $10 per hour for each hour of deficit. Payment will be billed through FACTS and must be received before report cards, transcripts, or diplomas are released.
Many families go far above and beyond 25 hours of service and we thank you for your dedication and generosity to our school. If you have questions regarding service hours, contact Shauna Dixon at sdixon@sfcawolves.org or call 352-376-6545
Protecting Gods Children
All adult volunteers MUST complete the “Protecting God’s Children” workshop and be “live scanned”. This is a Diocesan requirement and paperwork must be on file in the school office prior to volunteering.
The Virtus/Protecting God’s Children training program educates and trains adults, including clergy, religious, seminarians, teachers, staff, parish volunteers and school parents about the dangers of abuse, the warning signs of abuse, and responding to allegations of abuse.
The Safe Environment Office coordinates the Virtus/Protecting God’s Children training program. For more information about the program, contact the Director of the Safe Environment Office.
