Saint Francis Catholic Academy participates in Florida’s K-12 Scholarship Programs and, through the generosity of donors to our scholarship account and endowment, offers the named scholarships listed below as well as a limited amount of financial assistance.

Saint Francis Catholic Academy Scholarships & Assistance:
Kipp W. Kennedy, M.D. Endowed Scholarship
The Kipp W. Kennedy M.D. Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 in memory of Kipp W. Kennedy’s genuine Christian spirit and generous support of Gainesville’s only Catholic High School which he helped to establish. Dr. Kennedy gave selflessly of his time, talents, and treasure as a devoted benefactor, member of the school board, and assistant coach of the Boys Soccer Team. All three of his children attended St. Francis, Billy ‘08 (a member of the inaugural class), Annie ‘10, and Kathleen ‘12. The Kipp W. Kennedy M.D. Endowed Scholarship provides a $1,000 recurring tuition award to one incoming freshman from each of Saint Francis Catholic Academy’s partner schools (Epiphany Catholic School, Queen of Peace Academy and St. Patrick Interparish School). Kipp W. Kennedy, M.D. HSI Scholarship
The Kipp W. Kennedy M.D. Health Science Institute Scholarship provides a $1,000 recurring tuition award to two incoming freshman from Saint Francis Catholic Academy’s partner schools (Epiphany Catholic School, Queen of Peace Academy and St. Patrick Interparish School). Reilly Family Memorial Scholarship
Honoring the memories of George T. Reilly, Patricia A. Reilly, George J. Reilly and Kathleen Reilly-Fulton, the Reilly Family Memorial Scholarship provides a $1,000 non-recurring tuition award to one incoming freshman who exhibits both financial need and academic merit. Saint Francis Catholic Academy Scholar Awards
The Saint Francis Catholic Academy Scholar Awards recognize students who have shown an ability for and an interest in exceptional scholarship through their middle school academic achievements and their scores on the SFCA High School Placement Exam.
- Principal’s Award – Presented to the incoming Freshman student who has achieved the highest overall score on the High School Placement Test, and whose middle school transcripts and recommendations show both an aptitude and a work ethic for continued success in high school. The Principal’s Award provides a 50% reduction in current tuition rates, over the four years the student is enrolled at SFCA.
- Faculty Award – Presented to two incoming Freshman students whose overall score on the High School Placement Test is in the top 5%, and whose middle school transcripts and recommendations show both an aptitude and a work ethic for continued success in high school. The Faculty Award provides a 25% reduction in current tuition rates, over the four years the student is enrolled at SFCA.
Saint Francis Catholic Academy Tuition Assistance
As we pursue the Mission of Saint Francis Catholic Academy, we strive to make attendance affordable for as many students as possible, either through scholarships or our Tuition Assistance Program.
Any family, Catholic or Non-Catholic, may apply for tuition assistance by completing an application on-line at www.online.factsmgt.com/aid.
Funds for tuition assistance are provided by Saint Francis Catholic Academy and are generated from fundraising activities, the generous gifts of our donors, and Diocesan support. Recommendations for assistance are made by the FACTS Company to the School based upon an objective analysis of the financial information provided by the Applicants. These recommendations are reviewed by SFCA administrators and the SFCA Finance Council (applicant information is masked).
Financial assistance may also be provided by your local Catholic Parish (information on available assistance, if any, must be obtained from the Parish).
